Upon the encouragement of his wife, Christina, Pastor Phillips made a life changing decision while stationed at Ft. Carson, CO. He attended church after many years of being absent. Through the leadership and guidance of Bishop Dunn at Isrealite C.O.G.I.C., Pastor Phillips accepted his calling to the ministry and in 2002 was licensed as a minister in the C.O.G.I.C. Pastor Phillips and his family moved to Louisiana after his career in the Army and served 8 years at Macedonia C.O.G.I.C. After serving 8 years in the C.O.G.I.C. faith, Pastor Phillips again heeded God's call and allowed God to birth Mt. Pisgah Ministry of Faith. Pastor Phillips and First Lady Phillips were married November 4, 1992 and have three daughters to this union. On June 10 2012, Pastor Phillips was ordained an Elder and appointed as Overseer of the Louisiana Region. This was done at the 2nd Annual EOM International Conference held in Penrose, CO at Penrose Family Worship Center. Overseer Phillips is the Pastor of Mount Pisgah Ministry of Faith in DeQuincy, LA.
Elder Phillips grew up in the C.O.G.I.C. faith. She was instrumental in leading her husband back to God. For the first 14 years of their marriage, she was an Army Wife. She not only held the "job" of Army Wife, she was a mother of three and worked a full time job. Once Pastor and First Lady left the Army, she still worked full time and decided to return to school. First Lady enrolled at McNeese State University and graduated with a double major in Finance and Sociology. She has several college degrees in Finance, Accounting and Sociology. Elder Phillips has also had training in Church Finances, served as a Youth Sunday School Teacher and as a Youth Leader. Sister Phillips was ordained an Elder and appointed as the Youth Department Leader for EOM International.
